Thanks guys! Lots of great info there. Can the injector pumps on these tractors be "turned up" for more power like on the later models? If so, what all does that involve, and how much would a "safe" power level be? Steven@nd, I've been watching your W-9 adventures, hopefully I'll have tales of my own soon! Always liked these tractors, since when I was young we had a WD-9 here on the ranch, along with a 560 and several M's, H's, and A's. Traded the WD-9 for a 656 gas around '70 that we still have and use. Also still have and use the Super A that I started out on mowing hay at 9yrs old. Unfortunately, in about '84 or so, the "Big Tractors" on our place went green, after having too many clutch or T/A problems(don't remember for sure which) on our 886, and there wasn't a "new" Red tractor on the place until I picked up a running F-20 a few years back. Hoping to add another Red one soon!
