The 650 has a bigger engine than WD9, 350 cubic inches instead of 335. Super WD9 had the 350 though. The WD-9 has the same compression ratio so the heads should be the same. D350 engine

62 horsepower on PTO
56 horsepower on drawbar Was produced from 56 thru 58. Serial numbers for 56 are 501-687, 57 are 688-3470 and 58 are 3471-5433. There were 4933 total 650's produced, that includes gas, diesel, and LPG. The 650 had upgrades from the WD9 to handle the extra power. Things were changed in the transmission and rearend, and also the provisions for the live PTO too. Only problems with them would be cracked heads and bad injection pumps if previous owners didn't operate it correctly.
