I beg to differ with you on Farmall 504 gas engine. I don't exactly remember the cubic inch on that engine. I know it was slightly less than the 300 and that was 169 cu. inch. My 504 did not have sleeves. I bought a second farm in 1975, and 504 came with it. Previous owner had just had the engine rebuilt, and advised me of no sleeves. I had planed on keeping 504 and trading my 300 on a new 1066. I took 504 and 300 to field and tried both on a number 60 3x16 plow. 300 stayed and 504 went on trade for 1066.
