Seat Wobbles Woes Hydraulics Questions

First of all... Want to say thanks for all participants on this board. A classy bunch of folks in my book.

A little help on this would be most appreciated.

Our M has a seat wobble problem. The bushings or bearings in the pivot shaft are worn out...and I'm talking completely..so much that you feel like you are in a parachute instead of on a tractor... so we've got to get this fixed. We tried removing bolts last night and got one loose but the other turns so that it loosens the other bolt. We've managed to get a pair of narrow needle nose vise grips on the bolt, but it will ot come loose. We've got a manual ordered, but it hasn't come in yet. We've sprayed WD40 on it and will try again tonight to get this off. Any suggestions on making this repair would be most appreciated.

Regarding hydraulilcs..My M has a single cylinder on the left side. Last night I removed the baler wire holding the lever on the right side of the tractor and moved the lever.. The cylinder on the left side moved out to its full length and then began squirting oil. Now the cylinder is extended. I'm hoping to use this system to work with a three point hitch in the future, but I'm new to this tractor thing. I'm guessing that the belly pump just pumps and that you have to have some sort of switch as well as a two way hydraulic cylinder to have the hydraulics work both ways..

We are very pleased with our acquisition..this old M starts and runs great...we've just got to get it so we can use it.
