On my Super C, I had to take a hacksaw & cut the offending bolt off. It would NOT come loose, even w/generous application of heat, etc. Mine takes the long bushings, so I thought I'd just get a new pivot bushing, as what I could see looked pretty bad anyway. After I got it out, I found out why the bold wouldn't come out-the bushing was wore through on that side clear to the bolt threads in one small area, & even the threads were gone. I went to get a new bushing-NO WAY would I pay $36 the dealer wanted for the new bushing. I took a 3/8" pipe nipple of the proper length, bored it to accept a 1/2" bolt, forced the bushings on the pipe nipple & installed using a stop nut on the bolt. Not original, but works like a charm.
