Mr. IH, when replacing the o'rings on the brakes use only vaseline, and after installing use a small round dowel to work the kinks out, by gently lifting the o'ring and work your way around the ring. If you check the o'ring before you install it, you will feel a raised rib on the ring, you have to make sure it is not twisted. Any twists will shorten their life considerably. The seals that you put in over the brake shaft must be kept clean also. I always put plenty of a light weight grease in the channel between the wiper edge and the seal edge, the little channel in the seal that rides the shaft. I know you can do it because I have replaced them in below zero weather on the farm when I worked for a dealer. Not a fun job but it had to be done. When replacing the piston, take the bleeder screw out, grease the edge of the piston inside and out. I always used three bolts and flat washers to pull the piston in evenly, their are three of the holes that have threads toward you to use shorter bolts. Whatever you do, don't get on a big wrench and overtighten those brake housing bolts, had a fellow that worked for us that did that and you could bet who had to go out and do it right.
