We have a 856 that every year the brake seals go out. I cant figure out why. The brake shafts are smooth and not grooved where the seals are. We donot abuse the breaks like getting them hot or anything. I put the seals in myself 3 times within 4 years. We also had a dealer mechanic put them in once and they still went out. We are going through about 1 1/2 gal of oil a day out the bottom of the brake housings. The dealer said that I put the seals in right. I also have replaced the brakes and the rubber piston rings. If anyone has any ideas why it keeps developing a leak every year, I would appreciate the help.
