geneb I am going to differ with you on starter rebuilders. The rebuilder in question in my former post rebuilt many starters for me 300, 560, 130, chevy trucks, 2 Case, 1 deere, 1 Cockshutt, 1066. I was going to say 656 however I can't remember ever having starter off 656, 11,000 hours in 16 years. Reinforces my belief 56 series was best IH ever built. Getting off subject. In 40 years of going to that same starter rebuilder, dozens of times Super A starter was only one I was never happy with. It was never one bit better the day I would bring it home from rebuilder. This guy was good. To keep a customer with 427 and 6.2 Chevys happy he had to be good.
