sounds like you are ready for a rebuilt I get mine from T.H.E. company in nearby MT. PLEASANT they are 105 exchange are done by HARVEY BROS in GALESBURG ILL they have been rebuilding stuff forever starter shops can make them run but they dont have any thrust when put on the tractor after turning the armature on the lathe and undercutting the armature and new brushes still dont have good tourque i just go for a rebuilt repair shops can get expensive and like HUGH says go for the exchange
