Tom, Very well said. I grew up playing on my uncle's John Deeres. Then I worked for 6 years on a cotton farm. Now, we have a 1066 of our own. For years I never told anyone that I love the smell of a tractor. I thought I was the only one in the world who liked tractors this much until a co-worker of mine came to see my tractor one day and the first thing he did was walk up to it and smelled it! He took a deep breath and said "Yep, thats a good one!" I am a tractor fan. Red, green, yellow, blue - color doesn't matter. I think it is wonderful that there is a place on the net where I can read and ask questions about tractors with people who actually love them. Just wanted to add my two cents. You mentioned the way a tractor smelled and I went back 30 years. Thanks, Mitch Sisson
