I saw what appeared to be a grease distribution place in the rear end of my 49 "C" when I removed the top plate to change a differential ball bearing. It had a tube going back to the PTO/belt pulley and a trough going fwd to the transmission. I thought it was directly under the place where you put grease in. When I reinstalled the top plate, I discovered that the distribution place was on the right side and the grease port was on the left side over the transmission. My I&T doesn't explain how the grease in the rear end is distributed. Maybe someone can explain the system to me. I didn't install the PTO shaft assy because the sleeve is bad and I don't need it anyhow. Maybe later. Thank you Wayne
