I did lot's of other things with my 140 with L59 mower and I rarely took off the mower. Usually took it off in the winter, because I used a front blade for snow plowing. However, for summer work, I could leave the mower on and still use the blade. The extra weight of the mower helped. Had to fasten the mower up to do that because the touch control rock shaft was needed for the blade. I had a 3 point hitch and used all the implements for that with the mower in place. Of course if you are using a cultivator, or using a PTO implement or using a hay mower or raking hay or such, then the Woods mower would have to come off. The Woods mower is so heavy and not easy to take off, I'd consider getting another tractor to do my other work rather than taking that heavy thing off and on all the time.
