Bad clutch release bearing???

When a clutch release bearing goes out what are the syptoms? I have posted several posts about the stuck clutch on my 184 Cub. I now think it is the release bearing because I can get the pressure plate off the disk slightly by prying. Any help is appreciated as usual!!
