I recently bought an IH 460 utility with a #50 McCormick loader. It runs well but the hydraulics scream! If I am picking up the loader they are quiet, but as soon as I let off the hydraulic lever, they start screaming again. It sounds kind of like when a cylinder hits the end of the stroke and you keep holding in the lever. The loader will pick the front of the tractor off the ground easily so i think the pump must be working. What should I look for? I have worked on tractors some, but never too much with hydraulics so I am basically an amateur. I have a parts manual that has everything in an exploded view, but I don't even know what to take apart to look at. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Thanks a lot.
