Old Tractors

Does anybody aspire to have older tractors in your collection ,or just the stuff you used and have fond memories of? I have been trying to get older stuff for the sake of preserving it for future generations, but will they give a damn? I go to the shows around here and see lots of everything from M's to 560's, and don't get me wrong, I love 'em all, but they don't seem like old tractors. I drive around the small towns in an unrestored Model T and most of the old folks love it. But sometimes you run into an old boy that won't even look twice at it, saying that they have seen all of a Ford that they ever wanted to see. In two or three generations everyone that has listened to that 560 bellar for 500 hours a year will be gone, and will that 560 be on par with an F-30 as an "old" tractor? Sometimes I wonder if having all this old junk is really worth rocketing to the poor farm, but like a fool, I always come back for more. Like I tell my wife, one man's junk could someday be my junk. You guys have any thoughts on this, or am I the only confused one in the iron pile?
