From 6 - 09 to 6 - 13 we got 1" , but like you, it came so quick the road ditches couldn't hardly catch it, let alone the crops and the pastures ! Before that, we haven't had any rain worth looking in the rain gauge at since the 2nd week of April. This mid ohio valley is so funny when it comes to storms, they either stay right on I70 eastbound and bypass us or they come up the ohio river and split around us, or they set on top of us and try to wash us off of the face of the earth! It's not common to get a nice steady ground soaking rain, but sometimes it happens. Right now is one of those exceptions, since the hard storms 2 1/2 hours ago, it's been a nice steady ground soaker since and is expected to do so till around midnight. I hope that you are getting what we are down your way, and by the looks of the weather map the chances are pretty good!
