Tara, to find the birth year of your "red iron", at the left side of this page under the "Research & Info" section; click on the "Serial Numbers" link. The link took you to a page w/a list of tractor manufacturers; click on the "International & Farmall" link. On the new page, click on the "I-140 and F-140 link to display the serial number production began w/for that model year. Next, and please follow these directions precisely, walk out your door and hollar in a northerly direction "HUGH". It may take a while as he has revealed he is 65. The meek Canadian is a knowledgeable IH IHC fellow. Shy, but if you coax him a little, he is really full of it...IH knowledge that is...be sure to tell him Al L. in Wisc. sent you.
