I just wanna take a second and THANK EVERYONE for being so helpful and nice. I have always had an intrist in old farmall tractors. my dad took me to south dakota where he grew up on a couple thousand achers and right on BIG STONE LAKE. The little town is called wilmot. I can rember it like it was yesterday, I was 4 years old and my dad took me to this big shed that looked to me like a loaf of bread. Inside was this huge tractor. ( it looked huge to me because i was little and the H had a straw stacking loader on it) He went over to the ol H and it probally wasent ran for months or even years and he hit the starter and it turned over sooo slow. After about 5 times trying it she fired right up! It was very loud as it had no muffler. my dad raised the bucket up and down a few times and then shut it off. I will never forget the sound the smell and how every thing was that beautiful sunny blue sky day with rolling hills and the lake down the hill. I thought i was in heaven! I guess it would be hard not to like the old farmalls after that day. If it were up to me i would have a farmall for my car if i could! when i go to town to get food from the store if it is nice out i ALWAYS take one of my tractors! I have always been fond of farmalls but up until recently i did not have a place in the country to run em. now i do. I try not to let money from stopping my passion for collecting farmalls. I promised myself i would get 2 a year till i die. Im gonna be 30 on aug. 13. I currently have a 43 H (duel fuel) which was my first. then i got a very nice 1 owner 53 stage 2 super H with wide front. Then i bought a H with a artsway 72 inch finishing mower under her belly she is a 44. And just yesterday 5-20-07 I brought home a 1950 MD. I havent herd my md run yet but all in due time. I try to get every thing to work as it did from the factory. I will keep you guys posted about my progess. I will have to retime her as i dont rember what plug the rotor was pointing to. no big deal it wont hurt to get it retimed any how. THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE!
