The mention of vice grips reminds me of a painfull experience which my employees remember with glee. I was changing the battery on my Massey 165 (yeah I know but at least it is red) and needed vice grips to hold the square end of the clamp bolt. I cranked up the adjustment of the vice grip real good and locked onto the bolt head. Unfortunately I also grabbed the fleshy bit of my hand between thumb and fore finger with the vice grip handle. There was no way I could release it with my free hand. There I was clamped to my tractor. I waved to some of my guys who came into view and they just waved back and carried on working. It was a good 20 minutes before Someone finally came to my rescue. One of my dumber moments. Karl
