Being that yours is a 78 model i would say that she is a open center system and your draft sencing linkage came off inside . No don't panic as this is a easy fix . Remove the top three point link plate ( 6 ) bolts take a trouble lite and look in on the right hand side you will see a long arm (lever) coming up from the bottom and there will be a lever or arm coming down from the top , the one on top shold be behind the one from the bottom . Now there maybe some wear and this will allow the one on top to slip past the one on the bottom and they usualy come off on the far right close to the houseing . Now the arm on top is heavy spring loaded and it is wise to use a hook or twine not your fingers if ya like them and pull the top one back and slip it over the one coming up from the bottom . Now like i said if there is wear this will come off again so what i do is weld a heavey washer on the bottom arm on the far right . Now it also helps if ya have someone or tie the draft sencing lever in the cab BACK this will take off some spring tenchion .
