Randy: I've had a number of these over the years, I don't ever recall any of them being called Training Manuals, mine were just Service Manuals. I had complete sets for my 560, 656 and 1066. Those 3, made a stack close to 6" high, and were separate books for various components as George and CNKS suggest.

I have one here I picked up up last year at a antique tractor show flea market. It's called CHASSIS 140 tractor, basically shows how to separate each component and assembly of transmission, final drives, hydraulics, pto and electrical. I know there is another book that covers engine, cooling, etc. I expect there is one for fast hitch as well.

I can tell you this, the direction in this manual for installing a new kit in the touch control hydraulics is far superior to the IT manual, and I like it better than directions that come with the kit.

It gives a complete breakdown of the 4 changes, by serial number, made to 140 electrical system over the years, with a complete diagram for each.

In my opinion, the Blue Ribbon Service Manuals are far superior to anything on the market, but you must have the complete set. I remember when I got them for my 1066 in 1975, thinking it was big bucks, and it was back then. I forget the exact figure, but remember telling the dealer it would have been a better deal than the damn 4 cycle lawn mower he loaded on my pickup the day I paid him for the 1066.
