Not a good trade. In fact, you simply gave away the high crop SMTA because the H and 300 might have had equivalent value depending on their respective conditions. You could have paid someone $5000 to fix the tractor and still put an additional $5000-$15,000 in your pocket after listing it on eBay. In other words, the high crop probably has a minumum value of $10,000 regardless of its condition. If you have no time or money, the restoration could have been done on shares with a guy who has time, money, and skills. I hope I didn't wreck your day. Next time, ask the board BEFORE you trade.
