Rod Bearing Width Question

Still working on the C113 rebuild with the TISCO kit (ref the wrist pin bushing dilema in the forum). The rod bearings they sent are narrower than the originals by .143. The original bearings were 35578-DA and are 1.190 wide. The replacements are 1.047 wide and they located the locking tang such that they would be centered in the rod if I use them. I contacted TISCO to see if this was another case of the replacement bearings belonging to a newer s/n and they assured me all use the narrower bearing now. Has anyone heard of this, or should I see if the dealer has the original width bearing ?? thanks
