According to Guy Fay's"International Harvester Tractor Data Book" the X3 suffix on tractor serial numbers means that it came from the factory as a kerosene burning tractor. When I was growing up in the 1950's, everyone in our part of the world burned gasoline in their tractors and when they were overhauled, (about every 3-5 years, depending on how much usage it got) the tractor was converted to the best power option that was available. Yours has probably been re-fitted with domed, over sized pistons, so it would have little or no additional value today. Now if it has never been "opened up", still has its shutters, its starting tank & original pistons, it MIGHT be a little more valuable. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
