Thanks for the replys everyone. I robbed the governor off of an early model M. I'm not sure of the year. I will try to get the part number off of the weights tonight. They were stamped A1 and B1 also, I'm not sure what that number is I guess. The stud did come out of the housing towards the rear of the tractor, close to the block side. Near as I can tell they would interchange if I swap gears. The 16 tooth gear is a little smaller in diameter. Was there any diffrence in the M and super M governors. This is going on a M, but it has a 4" bore with IH dome pistons, I'm wondering if I dont have a super M engine? How does one tell? Thanks again.
