I am replacing the seals in on of the cylinders on my loader. I cannot get the cap off the end of the cyl. barrel. There is a small slot at the cap end of the barrel w/what appears to be a retaining clip or ring inside it. I was told that you have to pry that wire or clip toward the cap end of the barrel while turning the cap and it will start to thread out of the barrel. I have been trying this all afternoon with no luck and have only succeeded in breaking off a little piece of that square ring. Any suggestions?
