Tach-- You say the cable turns freely. Does this mean that after cleaning it turns freely by hand or that with the cable connected to the distributor you get rotation at the tach end? If you don't have rotation or it stops when you put tension on it, check the drive gear in the distributor. The gear is plastic or nylon and is often stripped. Can you manually turn the input to the tach? If not, try to work it loose. I was able to free up one I had. Go to batescorp.com. Seat-- The back on the tube frame seats on the 240 and 460 Utilities have the same backs.
