Ok guys, while rolling along some o f the backroads here in South Texas, I came upon three
Farmall tractors... The first is an LP, not factory, M-it's in poor condition. It has set outside for
probably 15 years and at best been under a tarp. Her tires will probably hold air-maybe.
There's no fast hitch-But this one is... free, belongs to a friend of the family.
The other two don't and a re a little bit of money. They are another LP powered M, that starts,
but doesn't run too well. The old gentleman it belongs to said the water pump is frozen, again
no fast hitch, PTO only and the sheet metal is fair/poor.
Asking price $500.
He also has an H. Little bit better shape, has the fast hitch, PTO and looks like someone has
added a hyrdaulic control box and outlets.
The tires are shot. They're so bad the tubes show through in a couple of places. The rims are
allright.
It runs and he's asking $400.
So, I'm looking for some advice. I'm just finishing overhauling and repainting, decaling a B.
Actually looking for something with a little more power, but was really wanting a
three-point hitch.
Any opinions, Red, Fred, anybody.
