Just some info on some of the trailers out there. Recently I purchased a 7,000 GVW 16' flatbed trailer with ramps to haul primarily my tractor and an implement from one place to another. The first time I attempted to load my C and 5' brush hog I "warped" the entire trailer. The side rails were in a rainbow due to the weight of tractor/hog all on the rear of the trailer when loading. Fortunately the manufacturer is only about 40 miles from where I live and to my surprise they not only replaced the trailer they built me a heavier one at no extra cost. They did advise me it would be a good idea to support the rear of the trailer when loading as a precaution. Just fyi for those who might be attempting to haul tractors on some of the lighter trailers. Some of these are not what they might seem.
