Guess it's been too long since I worked on mine. I don't recall having any trouble geeting anything out or apart. I had no orings or parts left over out of the new kits so I know I got everthing. I wonder if the flat pistons you are refering to are seized in their bore? Would a stout parts retrieval magnet work? If you can access the back side through a removable plug try using some light force such as a slim punch and light hammer taps. If they are seized that may be what it takes to get them to come out. Do you have an exploded view parts diagram? I have one but will have to wait until my wife gets home this evening to scan it to you. Don't think I'm smart enough to figure that out. This is a brand new system and I'm learning. Let me know and I will help if I can.
