Well, I am trying to convert the M to 12 volt. I took the generator to the shop and they are converting it for me as well as converting the regulator. I stopped by to see how it was doing and the guy said he was having all kinds of trouble with it cause it had been altered at some point. But thats the easy part. I got a new wiring harness and I need to figure out how to hook it up again. The old harness had been altered and i would like to put the new one on like it is supposed to be. My regulator is mounted to the top of the generator which apparently is not the way it should be. Also i have a manual kill switch on my magneto instead of an electrical which apparently isn't right. Are any of your alls tractors like this too? If anyone can tell me how i need to wire things back up again i would appreciate it. Specifically i would like to know which wires to hook to which terminals on the ampmeter (converting to negative ground as well) and what i should connect to the battery itself (what terminal on that as well). i know this is a lot but i appreciate all the help ya'll can give. thanks jeff
