Can't tell ya much about repairing the hydraulic unit cause I've never had the experience. If your hydro-trans fluid is milky, it's time for a change. Drain using the drain plug. When it's finished draining, remember to start the engine for a bit to finish draining the fluid from the pump. Also clean the cylinder block strainer by removing the 4 bolts and taking it out of the housing. When filling back up, start engine and move touch control levers back and forth to get air out of the system. Before shutting her down, place the levers in the back position (towards tractor seat). Shut her down and fill to 1/2" of the bottom of the filler plug. Maybe when you did this the first time, you didn't have the levers in the back position and that's why she leaked out. Just follow the instruction in your operators manual and you'll be alright. The one thing I notice when I replace my touch control fluid is I don't have all that whining noise I had when the fluid was dirty.  Take care,
