Hi Paul - If you're just looking for front end weight and don't care whether the weights are "right", I've had good luck with this: Get some railroad rail scraps, weld suitable mounting brackets to the rail then bolt the rails to the frame. Typical RR rail runs about 120 - 140 lbs per yard. A couple 3' lengths bolted a the front end will add significantly to steering traction. The local switchyard has been my source for rail scraps. Find the MOW (maintenance of way) supervisor and tell him what you want. Or if you see a maintenance crew working on the main line, find the person in charge. These guys always seem to have a pile of random length rail cutoffs from repairs, switchwork, etc. - they've given me free of charge any scraps I can lift by myself. ...Bob M
