Gareth, Often I have bought parts for the various 50 hp series and interchanged them. Many of the IH and CASE-IH tractors built from around 1978 to 1990+ share components. It is confusing with the sheetmetal face lifts since these changes disguise the appearance to where the tractors barely resemble each other. Do be cautious as some of the changes are subtle and the parts will not fit without some alteration. Always get the part with an understanding that if it does not fit you can return it. Recently I needed a radiator(discountinued) on a 574 an installed one spec'd for a later version. The filler neck was to tall(shortened this) and I had to add spacers to the feet but it works fine. As time passes we are going to have to do more of these mods as parts are dropped from inventory. Good luck.
