Think someone had a similar question a few weeks back. First, the M won't likely have a 3 pt hitch. Also consider, unless you have a SM, it wont' have live pto. Last, the hydro control valve (normally) is located near the front of the tractor.. Not in reach of someone operating from the rear on the ground. And last, since you get on and off of an M from the rear, take into consideration the safety issue that you probably wouldn't have from one of it's newer cousins, such as a 460U..
