I have an oddball loader that is built like a forklift. It steers from the rear and has a good size bucket on front. It says Dipper2 by Mobility on the side. Any info on this 4cyl. gas engine??? Thanks in advance.

Someone I know down the street has what you're talking about, it's sitting right near the road all covered up but you can see the dipper 2 on it, I know he's been aske to sell it, he's getting on in years, might be soon.

We used Mobility BIG Dippers in the fertilizer business between 1965 and 1990. They had 4 cylinder Ford Industial engines. These loaders were widely used at fertilizer blend plants. Factory refurbished Mobility loaders were still available in 1990.

Mobility Big Dippers used Ford 172 cid Industrial engines and then the last ones (Dipper 2 (?))used White engines.

I'm interested in the earlier ones made before Mobility took over. They were originally designed and built for cleaning feedlots as I understand and had 4 wheel drive. Mobility built them for use in fertilizer blend plants and only in 2 wheel drive. Anyone with information on these early ones?

Thanks Bill and Phil for info on Mobility. Can I get parts for the Dipper2 two wheel drive? It runs but with a dead cyl it lacks power. Has spark, probably a burned valve. Phil says it utilized a White engine? I'll probably drive my parts dealer nuts when I ask for parts for this machine! A manual would be very helpful. Does anyone know where I can get one?
