That is a good question. The European/Canadian 1830 appears to be the 2030 and both share many components with the 2130. The 2030 was built from 72 until 75. It appears production was initially from a single factory during 72 & 73. The serial numbers were not followed by the T or L. In 74 one serial number series started at 187301T and in 75 with 213350T. I'm guessing your 1830 is a late 1975 model. In 74 the other serial number series starts with 140000L.In 75 with 1445500L. Looking at the numbers the T series seem to run with the 72 & 73 production numbers? The L series appear to be a 2nd production line that started up mid way through 1830/2030 production? There must be chart out there somewhere with the mixed Spain, Mannheim and Dubuque models, years and serial number breaks?
