You mean the reg has four in the dia but you only have three. What you have is a cut-out the wiring dia is diferent. You must have the four pos slite sw as the early SA still used the cut-out as did the early Cs. Is your lite sw still four pos L,H,D and B. It will have a resistor on the bottom of the sw and a wire goes from tha to the F position on the Cut-out which will give it Hi charge when the sw is turned to that position. What is the # on the tag on the generator. You mite still have the original set-up and no one has changed anything since new.
