O.k. heres what has happen .. I went to Co-op to get some chicken feed .. got the ticket and start up the suburban and move it over to the dock to get the feed { 100 feet } ... shut it off .. Now the TROUBLE .. went to start it and NOTHING.. check battery cables , they were tight so try starting again .. SMOKE came out from under a box on firewall ...{ I think } check starter and it was better warm to touch .. so I figure the starter went bad ... replace the starter .. now I don't have any movement in gauges or the beeping { when you leave key in } and started still is nothing .. going to lock it up and the auto lock doesn't do anything ... WHAT did I DO ?? where do I start trying to find the problem ?? I'm hoping it's behind the box on the firewall .. looks like a coulpe of bolts hold it on ... It was getting dark and I thought the box said something about fuel pump relay and something else but couldn't read it ..
ANY IDEAS will be appreacate .. going to take box off firewall and look .... anything I should be looking for ???
