Awe life on the Frontier! Frontier didn't 'take over' from Verizon. Verizon dumped their landline service. Southwestern Bell has the same type runaround to get a trouble ticket written. In my case they made a big mistake. To promote better service the repairman left me his card and HIS SUPERVISOR'S card. The next time I had a trouble it was intermittent during rain or high moisture conditions. I knew a three-day wait would only result in a 'Can't duplicate or came clear while testing' so I called the supervisor and explained the trouble. He had a man at the house in an hour and he spent the morning running down the problem to a wet splice. The end result was over the next few weeks they replaced a complete riser and repaired two splices in the overhead cable. The old wire is expensive and doesn't return the revenue that the Cel. Business does. I think we’re going to see most of the companies dumping the landline service.
