Need Help Selecting Tractor

I have decided that I need a small tractor to help maintain my property and I was hoping that some of the knowlegable readers of this list could give me some recommendations. I have never owned a tractor before so please excuse my ignorance. The machine will be used primarily for mowing grass, plowing snow and some landscaping. The property has a lot of trees so it needs to be fairly manouverable to mow around them. I am not looking to spend a lot of money and I have seen quite a few tractors that are over 40 years old that are still quite servicable, so an older machine will do just fine. I am told that live hydraulics and a three point hitch are important features. What other features should I consider? What makes and models of tractors would suit my application and why? I would like to get a common model so that parts availability won't be a problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Trevor Day
