Not much in the way of tractor shows, unless you are here in mid March. The Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show runs from March 11 through the 20th this year. There is always 30 to 50 tractors there on display, and the guys drive them around the parking area several times a day during the show. I'll include a link below to the show. Oh, it's in Mercedes which is the next town west of La Feria.
Flea Markets? Oh yea, plenty of them. The biggest is in Brownsville, but there must be at least 6 or 8 more within 40 miles. A pretty good one is on the western edge of Weslaco (2 towns west of La Feria named DonWes, pretty busy place on weekends.
Museums? Yep, several. There is a great one in McAllen as well as some history on Tom Landry (the past coach of the Dallas Cowboys) who was born in McAllen. In Harlingen, one town east of La Feria is a nice but small museum near the airport, as well as a small military museum near the Marine Military Academy. Be sure and don't miss the Iwo Jima Memorial also next to the Marine Military Academy near the Harlingen airport. For more information on it, google Iwo Jima Memorial Harlingen.

Last thing, be sure and keep in touch with your friends here on the weather and pack accordingly. It's windy and in the 80's here today, but tomorrow it will cool off.
