: I'm into my first clutch job, and am trying to figure out how to get the clutch pilot bearing out of the flywheel/crankshaft end. Any ideas would be appriciated! Bob, The easiest way is to find a piece of round stock the same size as the pilot bearing (inside diameter). Pack as much grease as posible into the pilot bearing, Next, insert the round stock into the bearing and drive it in with a hammer. Forcing the grease in, forces the bearing out. If you dont have any round stock, it can be substituted by cutting the head of a bolt off. make sure that the bolt/round stock fits snug, but not tight.
