Well... Now I"m in SE Indiana. Spent college years playing in Muncie. Grew up South of Indy. My dad (also a Tony) is a top notch tenor sax player who haunted the scene in Indy from the mid 50"s through the 70"s. He also played many times with the brothers Monk and Wes. He worked with several of the groups at the time, playing 6 nights a week. I was still a pup in the 60"s. Maybe you guys crossed paths? Don"t know how much you were involved in the scene then or when, but Larry Goshen put together a great book chronicling the groups and players from the 50"s through today of Indiana. It"s called "Let the good times roll" and there was a book opening/concert several years back (2002?) on the south side where a lot of the old groups got back together and did 3 or 4 songs. I was there with dad, as the bass man for The Dawnbeats is no longer around. What a blast that was. Emails open if you like.
