dave mohr (moore) - owns the property on the left as you are going from highcliff towards peck rd. just after you go accross mont. co. line - he might be interested in the rake baler combo...he spent the summer messing around with an old NH (i want to say a 68...but possibly older than that) and a dump rake - finally made some real dark mulch at the end of the summer...
we had a real successful summer with hay...started with 3 running tractors, 2 balers, 2 haybines...and ended the summer with all three still in action - had summers where we limped accross the finish.
those 489 gearboxes seem to like to blow up...i know barry went through 2 or 3 of them on one of his haybines...we have always been happy with the setup of the 479 so when we upgraded to a 2nd, newer, haybine we looked till we found a decent 488, which has teh same gearbox setup as the 479...
started using a new to us NH 311 baler this year that has been the nuts...
couple that with getting married, getting my first nephew and going to hawaii...it was a real good summer.
