: : I thought I was on the ball but maybe I'm not so... On my son's 1520 the draft settings have confused me more than I usually am. I was trying to help him figure them out and realized I was a "not knows" when it came to this stuff. Does anyone know what the story is from the bottom hole on up? Any help would be appreciated. Me

: >> I will give you half an answer, because I sold my 2030 about 6years ago... JD's draft control was called load and depth. the D is for depth or position control. The L is for load or draft control the D & L are stamped into the quadrant. I think D is on top, but not sure. In load, moving the main lever 3" or so with nothing on the hitch will cause it to drop all the way. The holes in between will be a combo of draft & position. Hope this helps...

You have given me much hope, Now I know why the thing picked up the terracing blade when I thought it should be dropping it. Thanks, Me
