Hi Bruce: Gotta remember that there could be a low compression distilate head on it and/or low compression pistons rather then 5000ft pistons etc... so all cylinders similar is "good" and better is using not much oil and clean plugs showing no or low oil usage... after compression test, pump 2 table spoons of clean thiner oil into each cylinder wall and wait an hour for oil to run all the way around piston top down unto rings... do another compression test. If about same your engine (pistons & rings are good) so just use it & enjoy it... good luck.. If you want more power, look for a rebuilt super M with high compression pistons. Lots of money can always buy more power but the rest of the drive train needs to be better also... good luck.. ag
