I like Gojo and Gunk, but if I'm out, try pouring a bit of NEW motoroil in your hands and the greasy stuff rubs off a lot easier, to the point that regular bar soap will finish the job. Don't recommend using gasoline anymore, the additives, (chemicals) can do nasty things to the skin. Since I get pretty dirty everyday, if I used Tide or other heavy detergent to clean up, my knuckles would be bleeding from the skin being dried out. Any kind of hand cream before working on the dirty stuff makes it easier to clean up later, prevents the dark stuff from going down into the pores. 35 years a mechanic, John in Nebr.
