Bought little cockshutt 20 Went back 6 volt to be original. No problem starting. Generator rebuilt works well. When tractor is running battery voltage across post rises to 8.82. This seems ok to me. What I wish to discuss is the generator is actually off my co-op e3 which will become a cockshutt 30 . Was thinking about using 8 volt batt on the 30 and this generator- voltage regulator as it is clearly putting out in excess of 8 volts. Naturally I will get another 6 volt generator rebuilt.Does this make sense to the electrical brain trust???????? John T are you Home????? If so we need to meet for caffinee, And who is the local starter generator rebuild fellow?? Did find a well qualified fellow at odon who does good work and clearly reasonably priced.
