transmission problem 1250 cockshutt diesel helppppp

i was useing my 1250 the other day I left it idleing in neutral. I got back on her went to shift into gear but the gear shift leaver wouldnt engage . Clutch seemed fine . Pto still worked hyrdaulics ok engine .but tranny shift leaver stuck .. any ideas would be a help in the middle of planting now and need her runnin .....
